Alongside Josh Herum DP, we were hired by Ryval Studios to film Laura's ranch-family life outside of the UFC. A mixture of indoor talking head-esque footage and outdoor farm action was required. Our main toolset here was a run and gun sling bag with lab mics and boom on everything. Our biggest challenge was filming at an unfinished home full of wood and framework - Is it inside or is it outside? Choosing the right boom mic to fight against wind but also negate indoor reflections was crucial. We're so happy with how this project turned out!
