We were the audio leads for the popular multiplayer game "Project Playtime," all in-house animations, and marketing efforts. We created music tracks for the game as well as custom sound design elements. We worked with the Mob Entertainment team in Unreal Engine 5 to implement sounds so that players feel immersed in the retro-futuristic world.
Horror is a genre that allows for SO many different interpretations and possible direction in terms of sound. Sound can make or break any film or video game. In this case, we used sound to elevate every step of gameplay. We were lucky enough to work on such a widely-popular IP, creating haunting music and memorable sound effects for viewers to immerse themselves in. Our goal was to blend nostalgia, fear, and uncertainty.
